EP-premier! Clayfeet: Stars Explode

A darkpop/szintipop Clayfeet szerepelt már a Recorder Magyarradar rovatában, bemutattuk stop-motionös, szerelmi karambolos klipjüket, most pedig karácsonyi kiadványként kiadták legújabb EP-jüket, ami meglepetésként még azt is tudja, hogy a korábbiakhoz képest, fényesebb, optimistább anyag - ránk is fér valami ilyen 2016 végén.

A Clayfeet év elején adott ki egy kislemezt Severance címmel, de szerencsénkre év végén is jelentkeznek új dalokkal, mégpedig a korábbiakhoz képest optimistább kicsengésű tempós szintipoppal. Az eredeti számon és a majdnem instrumentális változaton kívül van a kislemezen két remix is, az egyik I, Symptom mukája, a másikat pedig Planetdamage készítette. A számot a Clayfeet Harmath Szabolcsnál vette fel, neki köszönhető a tangó-részben a hegedű és pah-pah is. Jankó Bálint zeneszerző-hangszeres a Recordernek azt is elárulta, hogy honnan ered a dal szövege (angolul): "A szöveget Lawrence M. Krauss fizikus idézete inspirálta: “Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today."
