A 77 éves Leonard Cohen több mint hét év után tér vissza új albummal, és a 2012. január 30-án megjelenő Old Ideas anyagából itt a Recorderen már be is tudtuk mutatni a Show Me The Place és Darkness című dalokat. A Going Home-ot, a lemez harmadik beharangozó számát – és egyben nyitódalát – a kanadai költő-énekes már nem SoundCloud-oldalán tette közzé, hanem előbb a decens The New Yorker magazin költészeti rovatában publikálta vers formájában. Még szerencse, hogy az újságnak honlapja is van, és ott magát a dalt is közzétették meghallgatható stúdióverziójában – és azt most mi is be tudjuk itt mutatni (a végső dalszövegtől néhány szóban eltérő eredeti verssel együtt, természetesen).
